Ruby D. Hall - Legacy 13 Scholarship

Ruby Debose Hall was a charter member of the Colorado Springs Alumnae Chapter. She was an educator, and taught for many years in the Fountain-Fort Caron School District at North Carson (now Freedom Trail) Elementary School on Fort Carson. She was very active in the community and civic organizations. The Ruby Hall Memorial Scholarship was implemented in the local chapter in 1979.  Over the past 39 years the chapter has given at least 2 scholarships annually to deserving young people pursuing a college education.  The memory of Soror Hall lives on through the pursuits of college bound high school graduates.

This scholarship was created to provide financial assistance to young, college-bound students who reside in El Paso County.  Applicants for this scholarship must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale, demonstrate financial need based on family income, and show interest and involvement in their community.
